Kåre Stormark is Deputy Director General in the Department for UN and Humanitarian Affairs in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Oslo. He has a Cand.Phil degree in History from the University of Oslo and a long career in the Norwegian diplomatic service. He has been posted to Dar es Salaam, Nairobi, Harare and Geneva. He has been a member of the board of EITI, Alternate Governor to the Regional Development Banks (ADB, AsDB and IDB) as well as a member of the Council for the Nordic Africa Institute.
