Summary

The Sustainable Development Goals were adopted on 25th September 2015. Landscape-making is the important part in implementing the SDGs. The good landscape not only gives the city good views and identifiability, and improves the urban quality, but also benefits to the nature and ecological environment, raises the living standards of the residents, and drives the urban investment, tourism, employment and industry. More and more countries and cities pay great attention to the urban landscape development now a day.

This networking event will invite speakers, officials of international agencies, local government officials, landscape experts and scholars, and representatives of the design and development enterprises to introduce their achievements, experience, policies and lessons learnt on how to make the urban landscape.
